Mahroo Hedayati is a member of the Jivano Women’s Organisation and a Kurdish human rights advocate arrested on 19 September 2022 in Sanandaj. Her commitment to women’s empowerment and her support for the slogan “Woman, Life, Freedom” led to her targeting by Iranian security forces.
