Mozhgan Kavusi is a Kurdish-Iranian writer, researcher, and documentary filmmaker arrested on 22 September 2022 in Nowshahr, Mazandaran Province. She is known for her work documenting Kurdish identity and social justice issues, and her arrest came as part of the broad repression of ethnic and women’s rights activists during the 2022 protests.
