Farah Khazim, is a student and human rights defender from Syria who was arbitrarily arrested on 14 January 2021 after being accused of “communicating with and dealing with suspicious websites” for expressing her views on Facebook, along with other detainees including Feryal Jahjah, Hala Al-Jarf, and Falah Younis Suleiman. The case was framed under Articles 285, 286 and 287 of the Syrian Penal Code and Article 28 of the Anti-Cyber Crime Law.
