Abdulwahab Qatran
Abdulwahab Qatran is a retired judge living in Yemen. On 2 January 2024, Qatran was arbitrarily detained by the Houthi group after they raided his home Sana’a. During his detainment, he was restricted from speaking with his family or a lawyer. He was released on 12 June 2024, and his case was closed. Many of his personal items were confiscated during his detainment, including electronics, diaries, and notebooks containing the passwords to his online accounts. Even after his release, authorities refused to return his belongings.
