Issam Abdullah was a 37-year-old Lebanese journalist. While reporting on the clashes in southern Lebanon on 12 October 2023, Abdullah was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Alma Al-Shaab. He had been working with the Reuters News Agency in Beirut for 16 years, and was known for endeavours to always help others.
