Ali Hama Salih is an Iraqi politician, head of the Kurdistan National Stance Movement and member of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament. He was arrested on 26 June 2025 in Sulaymaniyah as part of a widespread campaign launched by security forces shortly before a planned demonstration. He was detained alongside other political leaders including Dr. Ghaleb Mohammed, Rebwar Karam and Omar Kulbi. All four were held at the Internal Security Directorate in Sulaymaniyah and released the same day.
