Alaa Al-Ramahi is a civil society activist living in Iraq. On 31 March 2024, Al-Ramahi was arrested by a security force affiliated with the National Security Service in Basra following a complaint filed against him by the Director of Basra Health after he criticised the deteriorating health situation in the governorate. He was released the next day on bail.
