Khalaf Khader was a driver for the media team of Çira TV and Çira FM in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. On 08 July 2024, Khader was injured in the Turkish airstrike on the Tal Qasab-Sinjar road in Sinjar district that targeted the journalists. He was accompanying the reporters during their coverage of the tenth anniversary of the IS massacre at Tal Al-Qasab.
