Anne Salah is an Iraqi TV presenter. On 28 March 2024, she posted on Facebook that she had been dismissed from her position as a TV presenter at the Iraqia General Channel, where she had worked for eight years, in retaliation for a social media post she made criticising the high cost of living. According to her post, she was “investigated, punished and transferred to the radio by the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hamadi, without legal basis.”
