Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee is an Iranian writer and human rights defender who has been repeatedly imprisoned since 2014 for her outspoken criticism of the regime. She was re-arrested on 26 September 2022 at her home in Tehran after a brief release in May 2022. Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraeei continues to advocate for women’s and prisoners’ rights despite continuous targeting by authorities.
