Habiba Al-Hinai (Habiba Al-Hanaei) is a prominent Omani human rights defender known for her advocacy on civil liberties, freedom of expression, and workers’ rights. She is a co-founder of the Omani Association for Human Rights and has been actively engaged in documenting and defending the rights of individuals in Oman, particularly during periods of political unrest and protest. Her work has included monitoring strikes, reporting on human rights violations, and supporting other human rights defenders. Al-Hinai has faced repeated harassment and intimidation by Omani security forces.
