Mahaliah Abdulwahab Al-Baadani, Yemeni actress and model, was convicted alongside Intisar Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi, Yousra Ahmed Al-Nashiri and Ruqaiya Ahmed Al-Sawadi by the West Capital Municipality Court of First Instance in Sanaa on 8 November 2021 on fabricated charges including alleged adultery, prostitution and drug use. She received a three year prison sentence, in proceedings that lacked any standards of a fair trial or due process, with the verdict never formalised in writing (its justification was never handed over to the defence) and she remains imprisoned amid widespread procedural irregularities and judicial harassment.
