Maysara Malas is a Jordanian trade union activist and engineer. On 30 March 2024, Malas was arbitrarily arrested while in vicinity of the Israeli embassy, as part of a widespread series of arrests targeting citizens peacefully protesting in solidarity with Palestine. His home was raided and his electronic devices confiscated. There was no legal justification for his arrest, as his activities were peaceful and lawful. He was released on 16 May 2024.
