Mohammed Al-Salahi
Mohammed Al-Salahi is a Yemeni journalist. He was arbitrarily detained by the Houthi security and intelligence services in the city of Hodeidah in October 2018. On 28 June 2022, the Specialised Criminal Court sentenced him to three years and eight months in prison in a secret trial during which he was only allowed access to his lawyer in one hearing. During his detention, he was subjected to ill-treatment, forced disappearance, and torture. He was released on 2 July 2023, after being held a year past the end of his sentence.
