Muslim Al-Basrawi is an Iraqi engineer and the representative of the Tufan Graduates and Non-Graduates Coordination committee. After organising a peaceful demonstration on 01 April 2024, he was briefly detained in Basra city and made to sign a pledge. After he signed the pledge, he was released and was able to return to the demonstration. Al-Basrawi is among many who have been demonstrating for years to be allowed employment at the oil companies operating in Basra Governorate.
