Najmuddin Mohammed is an Iraqi civil society activist, who was arrested on 25 June 2025 by security forces in civilian clothes while participating in a peaceful protest outside the office of the Kurdistan National Stance Movement in Sulaymaniyah, alongside other teachers, employees and activists including Shahla Ali, Munira Abdullah, Nour Farqi, Dilawar Ali, Zrian Ali and Mohammed Rasool. The demonstration was part of a broader mobilisation of civil servants demanding better working conditions and respect for labour rights.
