Sam Al-Buhairi is a Yemeni journalist and the head of the Mayon Foundation for Artistic and Media Production. On 5 September 2023, the Foundation released its new song, “It’s Not Wrong.” Shortly after, Al-Buhairi and his colleague Sinan Al-Tabai, who composed the song, faced a widespread hate campaign which included serious death threats, threats by searching gunmen, and a judicial complaint filed against them.
