Taha Ahmed Al-Maamari is a Yemeni media owner and journalist. On 24 September 2024, he was sentenced to death by a Houthi-controlled court in Sana’a on fabricated charges. Taha Ahmed Al-Maamari is the owner of Yemen Digital Media and Yemen Live. The court also ordered the confiscation of his properties. The International Federation of Journalists and the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate have condemned the death sentence, calling it a violation of press freedom and an attempt to silence independent media voices in Yemen.
