Abdullah Fahhad

Abdullah Fahhad is a former Kuwaiti Member of Parliament who was sentenced to six months in prison with hard labour by the Criminal Court on 2 June 2024 for allegedly insulting the judiciary during a televised interview. He was also fined 500 Kuwaiti dinars, on 22 September 2024, the Court of Appeal granted him bail of 1000 dinars and adjourned the case to 13 October 2024. On 20 April 2025, the Court of Cassation upheld the Court of Appeal’s decision to suspend his six-month prison sentence for three years, effectively nullifying the custodial sentence.
